For a Golden Valley visit we bring what an older torsion system in a cold climate tends to need: springs sized for common residential door weights, sealed rollers rated for low temperatures, cable, standard-length torsion shafts, and weatherstripping cut for typical door widths. We also carry lubricant rated for cold use, since standard grease thickens and stops doing its job once temperatures drop, which is a common reason doors bind up in winter here.
We don't carry every custom track configuration or specialty panel style on the truck - those get special-ordered when a door calls for them, and that can mean a short wait on parts. For a routine maintenance visit, though, the truck is stocked to handle what a mid-1960s door in this climate is most likely to throw at us.
